Jeju's culinary value, to the world — since 2016.
Founded in 2016, the Korea Food & Wine Festival Organization is a non-profit social-contribution body created by uniting the private sector, government, and businesses. Each year we host the Jeju Food & Wine Festival (JFWF) to share Jeju's pristine ingredients and food culture with the world. Supported by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and some 70 partner organizations and companies, and co-hosted with Cheju Halla University, JFWF fulfills its role as Korea's leading platform for sustainable gastronomy.
Jeju, the Capital of Gourmet in East Asia — through JFWF, we aim to make Jeju the heart of gastronomic tourism.
We introduce Jeju's clean ingredients to the world, spotlighting the value of the high-quality produce and seafood that the island's nature provides.
We develop new culinary-tourism content for Jeju, contributing to establishing the island as a global gastronomic destination.
By training student chefs who will lead the future foodservice industry, we share creative culinary skills and cultivate the next generation of talent.
Hello. I am Moon-Sun Jung, Chairman of the Korea Food & Wine Festival Organization, which hosts JFWF. Korea's food-culture industry holds immense potential for growth, and Jeju stands at its very center. Recognizing the bright future of gastronomic-culture tourism, JFWF began in 2016 and has since established itself as a signature event of Jeju.
JFWF has earned international attention: world-renowned chefs contribute their talents, and many visitors become ambassadors for the island. We give culinary students the invaluable experience of cooking alongside world-class chefs, and proceeds support a fund to nurture future chef talent.
The success of JFWF would not have been possible without Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, the Jeju Tourism Organization, Cheju Halla University, and our many sponsors. Thank you sincerely for your continued interest and participation.
